- As you can see, there are trade-offs to consider when running a
- multitasking program:

- 1: Because you are splitting your computer's available memory in half,
- each partition has only half of your computer's normal memory to
- work with. The individual regions can not share each other's memory.
- This can occasionally cause a problem when trying to run programs
- which require more memory to run than an individual region can supply;
- however, the more memory your system has to begin with, the more each
- individual region will have when the multitasker splits your computer's
- memory.
